Residents of Murray Harbour are provided with sanitary sewer service. Each lot has its own on-site well for water. The Town is responsible for and street lighting and maintenance.

Fire protection is provided by the Murray Harbour Fire Department. Police protection is provided by the RCMP.

Tax rates for since 1998 are $0.70 per $100 for commercial properties, and $0.40 per $100 for non commercial properties. The annual sewer rates are $500 full residents of 6 months or more and 250.00 seasonal

Garbage collection is available to residents through waste watch program.
