Build your snowman creation between January 1 and March 9, take a picture/video and send it in to gopei@recreationpei.ca.
Open to Families, Schools, Workplaces, or can be any group of people, sport team, community organization, club, etc.

Sign up and try snowshoeing at the Beck Trail, Murray River,
Saturday, March 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

We have 30 pairs of snowshoes available, assorted sizes, children's & adults. Please check www.gopei.ca on March 16th to confirm this event is still on. If there is not enough snow on the trail, the event
would have to be cancelled.

Safety During a Hurricane or Tropical Storm
In the event of an large-scale emergency situation, please make sure you are prepared to be self-sufficient in your home for the first 72 hours. In the event we have to evacuate you from your home, we will be setting up the Community Centre as an Emergency Shelter. We will be issuing regular updates through the media. If you need immediate assistance, e.g. you are flooded out of your home, please call the fire department.
