Rail Head Park

Murray Harbour has created a beautiful park that will reveal the history of this water front town. As you stroll through the park you will learn about the important part of railway life in the town of Murray Harbour. It was considered the end of the line. The Confederation Trail connects to the Rail Head Park trail as does the Harbour View Look Out, which is located down by the river. If you would like to hold a function here just contact the Murray Harbour Town Office as this is a perfect setting for an outdoor wed     Spend part of your day exploring Murray Harbour by parking your car at the wharf and walk around the town. The view from the harbour lookout is picturesque and if you feel like a walk along the beach just follow the shore. Visit the craft shop or enjoy an island treat at the restaurant. Follow the red brick path to the Rail Head Park and learn about the history of this water front town. Relax and have a picnic lunch then take a walk through the Rail Head Trails and the Confederation Trail through Indian Woods.
